"My artwork is a celebration of people, places, and moments in time."
Elvira LaMontagne a contemporary abstract artist born in Peru has called South Florida home since 1994. LaMontagne specializes in acrylic paintings. Her passion was ignited by her mother a young psychologist who saw in her a passion for art encouraging her at a very early age to pursue what she loved the most. At three, Elvira LaMontagne was invited by German artist Ryner Binneck to his solo exhibition. After that event, she went home to paint and has never stopped. She pursued a formal art education at F.A.U. in Boca Raton, concentrating in painting. Elvira's architectural background and fascination with geometric shapes, light, and cities greatly influence her compositions, which boast a rich palette of vibrant to muted colors.
LaMontagne's works have been selected for various local and international exhibitions.
